Good day Colleagues!
Welcome to the new school year 2020 – 2021!
To our new parents, welcome to the Jessie Ripoll family and to our returning parents, welcome back.
This year, as you know, will be a little different from what we are accustomed to. Covid-19 has impacted all of us in one way or another. We will get through this pandemic but a lot will depend on our attitude and our leadership – not only at school – but in our families and communities.
We will of course continue to support the school’s administration as they navigate us through this time of our school’s history, to make this a rewarding experience for our children. We need all hands on deck, so please join in where you can and help.
Here are 5 things we can do to help our children in the coming months:
1. Make sure they have the necessary instruments for school – textbooks, workbooks, tablet or computer, printer, reliable internet connection, work area at home, pencils, etc.
2. Ask them questions about the day’s lessons
3. Provide support for homework and projects
4. Reinforce safety protocols for social distancing i.e wearing masks, face shields, sanitize and regular washing of hands (at home or when at school).
5. Give them opportunities to get plenty of fresh air.

I implore you to continue to protect yourselves and your families by following the social distancing guidelines set forth as this pandemic may get worse before it gets better.
Again, Welcome JRPS Parent Family and we are looking forward to the next year of school life to completely immerse all our energies as we ‘labour for the advancement of our children.’
