Overview of PTA Committees
The PTA Executive body consists of a number of sub-committees which comprise of executive members, parents from the general PTA population and teachers. These committees are mandated to carry out specific duties which will assist in the advancing of our students specifically and our school in general.
The JESWEL Committee is a part of the Welfare committee of Jessie Ripoll Primary PTA. The committee seeks to garner funds to help needy students and other members of the Jessie Ripoll Community. The school runs this program but the committee plays an integral role in its execution.
Assists with the overall aesthetic of the school compound. This committee oversees the maintenance of our newly refurbished bathrooms as well as assists teachers with maintenance of classrooms which includes painting. Some parents have even taken responsibility for the maintenance of our gardens
Assists with the planning, and participates in, sporting activities in the school. Some of these activities include Sports Day, Primary Champs and other in-house competitions.
Plans and executes PTA related events which include Family Fun Fair, Family Games Night, Work Programs, Parents’ and Children’s treats among others. Assists with the planning and executing of school events which include Teachers’/Secretaries’ Day celebrations, Parents’/Child’s Month celebrations, Christmas Luncheon, etc.
